Why do we need health care?

AYURVEDA AND SOURCING OF RAW MATERIAL
Ayurveda reemerges as a medical science of alternative system
of medicine. Modern medicines are advanced like anything
and supported by number of texts, documentation of in-vitro
(lab study), in-vivo (clinical studies) with the reference
of toxicity, action, metabolite, absorption & excretion
of drugs etc, whereas Ayurveda is lacking of back up studies

Quality of herbs has become a major issue
following reports of heavy metals in Indian Ayurvedic formulations.
Evidence of clinical efficacy-One of the
major problems of HMP (Herbo Mineral Preparation) is lack
of good quality and clinical research.
Safety concerns-Adverse reaction and drug interactions
:
Ayurvedic medicines are generally considered comparably
safer than synthetic drug. While this may be probably correct,
case reports show that side effects and relevant interactions
with other drugs can occur. So lot of work has to be done
to ensure the total efficacy without any harmful side effects.
Standardization of Ayurvedic Drug
:
For safe and effective use of Ayurvedic drugs, consistency
in composition and biologic activity are essential requirements.
Problems on this aspects are a) difficulty in identification
of the plants, b) genetic variability, c)variation in growing
conditions, d) diversity in harvesting procedures and processing
of extracts, and e) the lack of information about active
pharmacologic principles.

Manufacturing, Infrastructure &
Quality Control Measures :
Located right in the commercial hub of India, Mumbai with
GMP certified manufacturing facilities; Vedicure follows
strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards laid
down by the Food & Drug administration (FDA). The complete
plant is constructed as per the measurements & dimensions
recommended for GMP. Each individual department is separated
from the other to avoid any cross contamination. All requirements
for maintaining safety, efficacy and quality of the products
are fulfilled. Qualified technical staff headed by doctors
and trained operating staff forms our production & quality
control team.
Standardization :
Testing of each and every product is
done right from the stage of raw materials (RM) to the finished
products (FM).A variety of and diversified herbal ingredients
are used in manufacturing of herbal products. This posed
the biggest challenge for us to standardize the raw materials.
With our in-house QC and R & D efforts we have developed
standards for each individual ingredient. These standards
are done s per the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia by using modern
testing methods like TLC, HPLC, HPTLC, GC etc. Our stress
is on to use standardized herbal ingredients to avoid any
batch to batch or seasonal variations which are common in
herbal products.
Standards we use te latest technology to check for the presence
of heavy metals(HM) in our products. This is done with the
help of a technique called as the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry
(AAS).
This helps us to meet the requirements of
our exports.
Safety Measures :
All safety measures like Fire Fighting management, Machinery
management, have been taken by installing the proper systems.

We have a team of highly qualified & experienced personnel's,

head of international repute. Our manpower is operative

meant for musculoskeletal disorders but the organization
has not confined to the said segment but also added products
in the management of diabetes & body weight management
beside herbal cosmetics of day to day use.
