Neurological

The Nervous System is an organ system in charge of sending messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to and from all parts of the body. It consists of the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Another important part of the nervous system is the sense organs.

The Nervous System uses electrical and chemical means to help all parts of the body to communicate with each other. The brain and spinal cord make up the central nervous system. Nerves, everywhere else in the body, are part of the peripheral Nervous System.

The Nervous System consists of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs and all the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body. Together, these organs are responsible for the control of the body and communication amongst its parts.

The Nervous System is a very intricate grouping of nerves and cells (neurons) that sends messages throughout the body. The central nervous system is comprised of the brain and spinal cord. While all nerves are important, there are two sets of nerves that are most significant in the body: cranial and spinal.
